Transparency matters to me, and I want you to know exactly what to expect from Dog Wellness Journey, this website, and the resources I share.
I’m Not a Veterinarian
I am a Certified Holistic Pet Health Coach, not a veterinarian. The information, coaching, wellness documents, recipes, and recommendations provided through Dog Wellness Journey are for educational and informational purposes only.
Nothing I provide is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition in your dog. Coaching is meant to work alongside your veterinarian’s care, not replace it. Always consult your veterinarian for medical concerns, diagnoses, medications, or before making significant changes to your dog’s diet, supplements, or health routine, especially if your dog has an existing medical condition.
Affiliate Links
From time to time, my wellness documents, blog posts, emails, or website may include affiliate links to products I genuinely use, recommend, or believe could be helpful for your dog. If you click one of these links and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
I only recommend products I would suggest regardless of whether an affiliate relationship exists. My recommendations are based on what I believe is genuinely helpful for your dog’s whole-dog wellness, not on commission potential.
Results and Outcomes
Every dog is different, and so is every dog parent’s situation, lifestyle, and starting point. While I share client experiences and outcomes (with permission), these reflect individual results and are not a guarantee that you or your dog will experience the same outcomes.
Coaching outcomes depend on many factors, including your dog’s individual health history, your ability to implement recommendations, and ongoing veterinary care. I do not make claims about specific results, timelines, or guaranteed improvements.
My Approach
My recommendations are informed by my training as a Certified Holistic Pet Health Coach through Dr. Ruth Roberts’ Holistic Pet Health Coach Certification Program, including Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) constitutional frameworks. This is one approach among many in the world of pet wellness, and it may not align with every veterinary or training philosophy. I encourage you to use your own judgment and to discuss any significant changes with your veterinarian.
Personal Stories
Stories I share about my own dogs, including Bear and Ginger, reflect my personal experiences. They are shared to illustrate concepts and connect with readers, not as medical case studies or guarantees of similar outcomes for other dogs.
